1. Who we are

Ughelli Market Hub ("we", "us") operates a marketplace connecting buyers with vendors offering products, food, hotel/lodging, and real estate listings in Ughelli, Delta State and its environs, along with job vacancy and classified advert listings.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or restrict any account — buyer, vendor, or employer — that fails to deliver purchased goods/services, posts fraudulent or fake listings, or otherwise violates these terms.

3. Vendor verification

Vendors submit identification and business details for review before they can list products, food, rooms, or properties. Verification reduces — but does not eliminate — risk. We are not a guarantor of any vendor's conduct, and buyers should still exercise ordinary care, especially for high-value purchases like real estate.

4. Payments and escrow

For Shop, Food, and Hotel purchases, payment is collected via our payment processor (Paystack) and held by Ughelli Market Hub until the buyer confirms delivery or completion of stay, at which point funds are released to the vendor. This is not a bank deposit and is not insured; it is an operational safeguard, not a legal escrow/trust account, unless separately licensed as such.

Real Estate listings are inquiry-based only — Ughelli Market Hub does not process or hold funds for property purchases. Any transaction is between the buyer and vendor directly, and should involve independent legal counsel.

5. Refunds and disputes

If an order isn't delivered as described, buyers may raise a dispute instead of confirming delivery. We will review and may refund the buyer, release funds to the vendor, or request more information. [Add your specific refund timelines and conditions here.]

6. Prohibited conduct

Users may not post fraudulent, counterfeit, illegal, or misrepresented listings; request payment outside the platform for Shop/Food/Hotel purchases; or use the platform to harass, scam, or mislead others.
